My Own Opinion Top 5 Klang Bah Kut Teh Ranking As a Klangster

Bah kut teh is a common dish consumed in Malaysia, especially Klang, origin from Klang too. Its a mixture of numerous herbs and pork cooked in a big pot, serve accordinly to the portion of your order, often add on additional ingredients like mushroom, fried tofu, fried tofu skin and etc. The name literally translates from the Hokkien dialect as 'meat bone tea', as variety type of pork meat could be order due to every individual favourites. Thus 'meat bone' represent the meat and usually Malaysian eat bah kut teh along with hot tea as the beverage in a small clay cup. However, 'chili padi' as known as the small red and green chili as the spicy sauce that loved by most the of the bak kut teh lover, and also 'You Tiao' or 'You Jiak Guek' known as the Chinese fried churro that sticked along with two made up of flour and fry, it use mean dip in bah kut teh soup to soften it and eat.

Ah Her Bah Kut Teh (Pandamaran)

Address: Ah Her bak kut teh junction between Jalan Police & Jalan Chianniah Pandamaran, Klang, Selangor

Honestly this restaurant ranked number 1st in my opinion as its broth got the exact original herb and meat taste of bah kut teh with well cooked pork. But this restaurant may not be suitable for thos who like to 'banjir' (drench) their rice in soup as this restaurant provide very less broth and only provide little bit of refills for those who order extra plate of rice. Every single soup of this restaurant is treasure as the owner choose not to compromise the quality of his famed broth. Ah Her Bah Kut Teh restaurant in Klang is only available for dinner from 5.30pm onwards.

Four Eyes Bak Kut Teh

Address: 9, Jalan Kepayang, Kawasan 17, Klang, Selangor

This is one of my favourite as this serve with 'claypot' type or 'bowl' type, as for Ah Her is bowl type, instead for the claypot type it comes with additional add on such as intestine, fried tofu, dried tofu skin, and varies type of mushroom. The stock tasted savoury with subtle underlying herbal and sweet flavours layered with good quality of soy taste. Most important, it serves with not only soup base of claypot, it also serves with 'dry' type of claypot which add on spicy taste with lady fingers on it, normally when I go there with having dinner or lunch with my family, we will ordered both type of claypot as it is a combination of eating there. Four Eyes Bak Kut Teh available from 9am to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 9pm.

Samy & Min Bak Kut Teh

Address: 100, Jalan mahogani 1/ks7 Bandar Botanic, Klang, Selangor

One of the biggest competitor of Ah Her bah kut teh as they both doing the same concept,
masterpiece on providing little on soup, no claypot, and no additional add on, selling almost the same prices. But everyone bah kut teh provider has its own unique taste, personally I like this alot too but they couldn't really compare with each other. The juicy pork infused with the broth simply melt into my mouth, followed by the pleasant smell of herbs. It opens at 5.00pm daily.

Restoran Kee Heong Bak Kut Teh

   Klang Bak Kut Teh Meal

Kee Heong Bah Kut Teh

Address: No 7, Lorong Kawasari 4A, Taman Eng Ann, Klang

The 'Heong' which is describing the the delightful smell of the bak kut teh, with light soup yet hearty with a very faint hint of herbs in the background. It has been inherited the recipes to 3rd generation and yet the flavour of bak kut teh is nearly similar from the past. If you doesn't like thick and strong broth, this is highly recommended for those who prefer lighter taste but now underpowering the traditional of bak kut teh. Operation hours is from 7am - 8.30pm daily, closed on alternate Mondays.

Teluk Pulai Ba Kut Teh

Address: No 32, Jalan Batai Laut 5, Kawasan 16, Taman Intan, 41300 Klang

For those people who prefer not overpower strong taste or underpower flavour, this is recommended as so far I could point out the most suitable taste of most of the people could be this shop, with unlimited top-up of the soup, and comes along with additional add on like you tiao, dried tofu, mushrooms and etc (as not all bak kut teh provide everything), this restaurant has lots of add on to be ordered. Typically crowded during weekened and the business hours is 7.30am to 3.30am.

This is one of the achievement made by me with successfully step up 272 steps and enjoy the view from the top of the mountain, theres a numerous statues of Hindu deities and paintings depicting Hindu mythology. Take note of this as being in a religious site, it's best to dress appropriately, don't over-expose the body would be your best bet, especially for girls wearing short, you need to rent a sarong (a length of fabric to wrapped around the waist) for RM5 to visit the temple.

Theres a largest wholesale market in Kuala Lumpur located a few miles away from Batu Caves, you can find the largest wholesale market in the city called Pasar Borong. From fresh fruists and vegetables to the daily catch of seafood, this market is the perfect to stock up your weekly groceries. Pasar Borong opens up at 3am and shits down shop at 9am.

Besides that, you could also visit waterfall near Batu Caves, as i visited Kanching Waterfall Forest Park which distance 20mins away from Batu Caves. It a cold icey natural waterfall to relax in a hot sunny day, public toilet will cost RM0.50 per visit within the area.
